Free Event: Can an Apprenticeship benefit my business?

Sci-Tech Daresbury, is very pleased to host Apprenticeship and Skills event on Wednesday 4th March 2015, from 9.30am to 10.30am during National Apprenticeship Week.
Companies at Sci-Tech Daresbury are now engaging more significantly with the Apprenticeship Programme and it brings real benefits to a business. This event is for companies that already have one or more apprenticeships and would like to understand how to use this programme even more effectively going forwards. It is also for companies that have never engaged with the ApprenticeshipProgrammethat want to rapidly understand if this brings benefits to their business.
This event is free of charge! You will hear about:
•Higher Apprenticeships at degree level (NVQ Level 4 with HNC/HND qualifications) relevant to your skills and recruitment needs - from both the provider and business perspective - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/higher-apprenticeships-guide-for-employers ;
• How to your company can gain access to some of the £52M Government has invested in a Science Industrial Partnership (SIP) for skills led by Cogent -http://www.scienceindustrypartnership.com/home/
• How SMEs can gain access to free training on short courses co-funded by ESF and the Skills Funding Agency -http://www.employerskillsfund.co.uk/
• The recruitment support available from the Halton Employment Partnership, helping to reduce your recruitment costs and time spent -http://www.halton.gov.uk/regeneration/

The National Apprenticeship Service, the Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Hub, Halton Employment Partnership and and Cogent's Science Industrial Partnership will set out their skills and recruitment support for employers in Daresbury. The focus of the event is to raise awareness of the different job roles that can be supported by training through Apprenticeships ???.from Science, Engineering, Accountancy, Marketing and HR etc and other training available that your company could benefit from.
