JCB Skills Shortage Event

Manufacturing Advisory Portal

The UK Manufacturing sector is currently experiencing its most acute skills shortage crisis in recent history.

On the 7th July 2015, EMS Recruitment Group are joining the Manufacturing Advisory Portal (MAP) for a Skills Shortage event at the JCB Skills Academy, Rocester, Staffordshire .

MAP's unique showcase event presented by senior professionals from JCB Skills Academy, Baker Tilly, Pannone Corporate (and of course, us) is designed to offer solutions to the current skills shortage crisis and will include a tour of the Academy hosted by the students themselves.

Principal of the JCB Skills Academy, Jim Wade, will talk to the delegates about the Academy - the first of a brand new kind of school for students from the age of 14 who are interested in business and engineering.

Our CEO, Roy Davies will discuss how to attract the best talent to your business following an overview of the current skills shortage crisis.

This will be followed by an overview of share incentive plans available to companies to offer their employees, including EMI Option Schemes and Employee Benefit Trusts by Mark Winthorpe - Corporate Partner at Pannone Corporate and James Morris - Tax Director at Baker Tilly.

The event will be rounded off with a networking lunch and a site tour conducted by students currently studying with the Skills Academy.
